Super Bowl Squares Pool for Charity!

Super Bowl Sunday: A festive day of eating, drinking, laughing with friends, drinking some more, critiquing advertisements, more eating, more drinking…then falling asleep on the couch to watch the fourth quarter of the biggest football game of the year dozing in and out of consciousness.

But if you’re looking to add even more drama to this year’s big game while doing some good and supporting a charity at the same time, you may be interested in this…

I’m running a Super Bowl Squares pool for charity and looking for players.

Squares are $5 each and if all 100 of the squares are sold, the winner will get $150. The rest of the money from the pot will be donated to the Tri for Les fundraising goal and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Send me an email (adamsfuller at gmail dot com) and let me know if you’re interested in playing ASAP so that we can meet up and get you on the grid in time for the Super Bowl.

And please invite any friends who you think would want to play…because the more squares that are sold, the higher the payout will be.

Thanks and good luck!
Adam

If Super Bowl Squares are new to you, here is how this one will work:

  • You can buy as many squares as you like. When you buy your square(s) you will write your name in the square(s) of your choice on the 10×10 grid (see below for an example of the grid). Squares will be available first come, first served, so if there is a specific square location that you want, the earlier you buy your squares the better.
  • After all the squares are sold, I will assign each of the grey squares on the grid a random number from 0-9 for the Patriots axis and then do the same for the Giants axis.
  • When the game is over and the final score is in the books, I’ll take the last digit from each team’s score and match it with the corresponding square at that intersection on the grid. The person who has purchased that square will be the lucky winner and take home the $150 (if all squares are sold).
  • Note: If we don’t sell all 100 squares, then the winner will be the person whose square is closest to the winning square and take home 30 percent of the total pot. If there’s a tie, then the winners will split that amount.
